Hey family! We ran out of time yesterday with our appointments. But
here's the latest.
We are teaching people!! Haha it's a miracle! Well it's a lot of
miracles because God is working wonders around us everyday.
On Thursday we met with Kikuchi San again and she accepted the
challenge to be baptized! Her goal date is November 6th and I think
she can definitely be ready by then. She's a real hard worker, keeps
commitments, and has great expectations. It's awesome that she was
referred to us by a nonmember. God has definitely been preparing her
throughout her life and through her friends and experiences.
Saturday we met with Akiho (miracle came to church lady) and she
also accepted the invitation to be baptized. The goal is October, but
she has work in Tokyo so she can only meet on the weekends. But she's
doing good and loves coming to church!
I'm going to have a lot of skyping to do. :D
We found two other new investigators this week as well. Tomiko is
coming to church this Sunday!
And yosoka chan is meeting with us on Wednesday:) we talked with her
on the train and gave her a Book of Mormon. She was so excited as we
talked about God and what role He can play in her life. She seemed
really grateful to accept the book. She's in high school and her
school is actually really close to the church, so hopefully we can
meet pretty regularly.
^o^ Also I have been assigned to talk in Kumagaya when we go to visit
on the 18th. (*^_^*)As I think about the people we are teaching now
and the people I've taught before and now have the opportunity to
teach one last time, it's exciting. It's a little scary. But I know
that they all need the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ. :)
Times up. Peace!
